Staff member dressed as Santa for residentsGood Morning Palm Garden Family,

This year at one of our centers the Grinch stole Santa’s “Steven R. Covey” planner. That’s right. Without his planner, Santa wasn’t going to show up.

When one of your team members learned of this she said “Oh no you didn’t! Where’s the costume? Our guests and residents are not going without a visit from Santa at Christmas!”

…and she danced.

She is an example of empowerment, respect for dignity, love, and pure joy.

Our Mission is to create a compassionate environment for each person entrusted to our care and to inspire hope and healing by helping those individuals achieve their highest level of physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.

Organizations talk about their mission all the time. We see example after example of our team members living our mission in their words and actions every single day. We are Palm Garden.

Unique. Different. Special. Elite.

We are just so proud of our Palm Garden Family. (And Nicelis from Palm Garden Orlando/Grand Palms- you are a GEM!)

Is there anything more important we can do than celebrate folks who are away from their homes and families for Christmas? Put on our GEMpathy cap. How would you feel? What would you want?

Empowerment means when you see a need- you fix it. And when you do it the Palm Garden Way it looks like pure joy. (Or Nicelis dancing in a Santa suit).

Kind regards,

Luke Neumann, Senior Director of Service And Relationship Development
